Covenant of the condemned.
Bound by the abhorrent and the ill-adviced cretins of yonder.
Blighted with life, a menial manifestation of unprogressive dormancy.
The formidable endeavor of amelioration is adjacent to the empyreal sacrifice.
Tremble and quiver in terror, boundless beings of blunder.
Your reckless deprecation of omnipotence will be your eradication.
Transcendental voyage across the seams,
the enfeebled forces of old, dethroned.
Oh Blind Observer, awaken.
The juncture is at hand.
Oh Blind Observer, unshaken.
Your wish is my command.
Blood drenching tranquil fields,
the price of progress will be paid, resolutely.
Triumph, in acquisition of sublimity.
Tremble and quiver in terror, boundless beings of blunder.
Your reckless deprecation of omnipotence will be your eradication.
Transcendental voyage across the seams,
the enfeebled forces of old, dethroned.
Deceptive curse of liberation, epitome of transgression.
Quench your thirst from the fountain of poisonous ambrosia.

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.

Beautiful, haunting, and incredibly engaging. I'm listening to this and looking out the window at snow falling -what could be more perfect?
An incredible record; highly recommended. It's truly beautiful, and that's not a word I often use for metal, but this is powerful stuff. somethingsomething9

An eclectic but incredibly well-integrated blend of traditional death metal, melodeath, black metal, progressive, and even a bit of folk (with the added bonus of audible and tasty bass guitar). The album has a consistent, pulverizing momentum punctuated by the rare acoustic passage or catchy chorus/refrain. Overall an unbelievably mature first offering from an up-and-coming band to watch.
